Meet Natasha Shakti: 23 Years of Flow, Flowing Your Way.
Yoga isn’t about twisting yourself into a pretzel—it’s about untangling your mind, reclaiming your breath, and finding a little more joy in your daily chaos.
I bring over two decades of personal practice and a lifetime of passion to the mat. Having trained with the legendary masters at Ananda and Sivananda Ashrams, I blend timeless, soulful traditions with a fresh, down-to-earth approach. Whether you are a lifelong yogi or can barely touch your shins, my mission is simple: to make yoga feel like coming home.
My Secret Superpower? I’m an Educator, Too.
With a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, I don’t just teach poses—I understand how the mind and body connect at every stage of life.
I specialize in translating the magic of breathwork and movement for both adults and children, creating a safe, playful space where anyone can learn to self-soothe, build resilience, and focus. Think of me as your personal guide to emotional regulation—with a side of deep stretching.
Services are provided at a Studio space in Brooklyn, NY or remotely. Home visits are possible.
Spoiler alert: Pretty much everyone.

Who Would Benefit from a Private Class of Yoga, stretching, Breathwork, and Meditation with Natasha or her colleague?
Busy Professionals & Overwhelmed Caregivers
Individuals juggling work, family, and endless to-do lists often experience chronic stress, tension, and mental fatigue. A private class tailored to their needs can help them slow down, release stress through mindful movement, and develop better breath control to manage anxiety. Yoga and meditation cultivate focus, balance, and a sense of inner calm, helping busy professionals and caregivers recharge so they can show up fully for their responsibilities without burning out.
Children Who Require Extra Attention
Children with anxiety can greatly benefit from private sessions that incorporate movement, breathwork, and mindfulness. Yoga helps improve body awareness, emotional regulation, and motor coordination, while breathwork supports self-soothing techniques. Meditation and guided relaxation can enhance their ability to focus, reduce overstimulation, and create a sense of safety and calm. A one-on-one setting ensures that the session is adapted to their unique needs and abilities.
3️⃣ Adults & Children Looking to Improve Executive Functioning Skills
Those struggling with organization, focus, impulse control, and decision-making, as well as those navigating demanding work environments, can use yoga and breathwork as powerful tools to strengthen executive functioning skills such as memory and focus. Stretching and mindful movement enhance body-mind connection and self-regulation, while meditation trains attention and improves cognitive flexibility. By integrating breath awareness and structured movement, individuals develop better self-discipline, patience, and mental clarity in daily life.
4️⃣ Anyone Seeking Healing, Flexibility, and Inner Peace
Whether recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, or simply wanting to improve flexibility and mobility, private yoga and stretching sessions offer a gentle yet effective way to support the body. Breathwork and meditation promote emotional healing, reduce stress-related tension, and encourage mindfulness. For those looking to reconnect with themselves, build strength, or deepen their practice in a supportive, one-on-one environment, private sessions provide a safe and personalized approach to well-being.
Class Flow:
A private yoga class starts with learning and practicing breathing techniques that set a tranquil and focused tone for the session, encouraging deep, mindful breathing to center the mind and prepare the body for movement.
Following Breathwork, the class transitions into a Yoga stretching practice, where sequences of dynamic poses are linked with breath, building strength, flexibility, and stamina.
As the Yoga session concludes, the class moves into a relaxing guided meditation or visualization. Calming verbal guidance and music allow the body to fully relax and appreciate the present moment.
